People are pretty lovely really. Over the past few weeks, the number of care packages we’ve sent on behalf of concerned loved ones has blown us away. It’s been incredibly heartwarming and has reaffirmed to me how meaningful the gift of nourishing food really is.

I know it’s just the tip of the iceberg, but in just 3 weeks we’ve been made aware of many, many people with immediate worries far greater than the Covid-19 threat (which added to things obviously does not help). Loss of a loved one, terminal illness, treatment regimes to continue with all the worry that brings. Single parents, essential frontline workers, elderly and/or living alone, incapacitated in any way.

It’s not particularly easy to pop to the supermarket for most of us as it is. Let alone if we are compromised in any way.

Our gourmet frozen meals are a really wonderful, nourishing gift. We have 10 of your favourite Village Kitchen comfort meals available for delivery twice weekly. For the giver, these offer the ability to contribute meaningfully from afar. For the recipient, a true blessing.

If you have someone you’re worried about; if you’d like to show practical care and support, please email us directly & we can help you put together a care package to suit.

Let’s see what the rest of this week brings. Here’s hoping for more recoveries, curve-flattening & positive trends.

Do let us know if there’s anything we can help with. I’ll be in touch again soon.

Take care,

Rebecca
